The Four Wars Men Are Fighting Every Day

There is so much pressure on men today. Many people do not fully understand what men are going through.  I recall one day a man telling me, You have no idea what Men go through out here? Men carry expectations, responsibilities, dreams, disappointments, and burdens that often go unseen. Yes, men have egos. Yes, men make mistakes. Yes, men go through trying times just like everyone else. But what often defines a man is not what he goes through, but how he comes out of it. We live in a generation where many men are struggling silently. Society often judges a man before it knows him. People address you by how you are dressed, the car you drive, the bag you carry, the house you live in, or the money they think you have. Yet behind the image is often a man fighting battles nobody knows about. Listening to Big Ted on Dialogues with Jagero he highlighlighted that there are four major wars every man fights every day. 1. The War of Family The first war is family. A man is constantly thinkin...

'Men', Sorry BOYS Step Up. Enough

Men, Where Are You? There is so much expectation placed on men. There is so much pressure. Many men carry the weight of supporting others, providing, leading, and showing up for those who depend on them. They need support too. At the same time, men must take total responsibility for themselves. Some receive support, respect, peace, and encouragement, yet still choose irresponsibility. The truth is that support alone cannot replace personal accountability. Men, ask yourselves: What has God called you to be? Heal and become that man. Today, I remind you that you are kings, husbands, fathers, sons, leaders, priests, providers, and protectors. That is God's desire for you. Awaken to that calling. Be better. Do better. Rise to the man God created you to be. ******** Lately, I find myself asking, what happened to men, real men? What our Fathers were?  The other day, I was seated somewhere, and most of the large, expensive cars passing by were being driven by women. It made me wonder, whe...

Men, Where Are You?

Lately, I find myself asking: what happened to men? The other day I was seated somewhere, and most of the large, expensive cars passing by were being driven by women. It made me wonder: where are the men? What happened to the male species? I don't seem to see many masculine men anymore. I see men expecting women to show up 50-50 in everything. I see men absent from their children's lives, busy chasing money or whatever excuse they choose to give. Recently, I overheard a conversation that disturbed me. A friend of mine 17 year old son received a call from his absent father. The son had searched for him because he needed his father's help with something and wanted to connect too.  Instead of receiving him warmly, the father immediately began scolding and belittling him. I heard the young man finally respond, "You have been absent in my life, and the first interaction you have with me is to demean me." What have you done with yourself ? What kind of men are out here ...

Don't Pursue Worldly Desires

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."  1 John 2:15-17 As I listened to the sermon today from 1 John 2:15-17, I was reminded of a powerful truth we are not called to pursue worldly desires, but to pursue God's will and purpose for our lives. Every Sunday when I walk into church, I carry a simple prayer in my heart "Lord, may I not walk out the same way I walked in. May Your Word, Your presence, and the anointing of the sermon transform me and carry me through every area of my life all the days of my life." For me, church is not merely a routine, a discipline, or a weekly obligation. It is a sacred space where I expect to encounter God. I do not go expecting the ordina...

DIFFERENT

**"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."**  Genesis 1:1 I have always loved beginnings. (Second half) The beginning of a new day. A new week. A new month. A new year. A new season. And just as I love beginnings, I also value endings. At the end of every day, week, month, or season, I intentionally pause to look back with gratitude. I reflect on where God has brought me from, what He has taught me, and how He has carried me through. As May 2026 came to an end and a new month approached, I found myself doing what I often do at the beginning of a season seeking God's direction and word for the new season or beginning. Before I seek plans, goals, or ambitions, I seek His will. I have come to believe that one of the most important things we can normalize as believers is seeking God's guidance daily. Not only for the big decisions, but even for the ordinary details of life. The Bible says: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your ...

Familiarity Breeds Contempt

A Lesson from a Conversation with My Dad This evening, I had a conversation with my dad about a saying I have heard many times before: "Familiarity breeds contempt." Growing up, our home was always open to people. We hosted relatives, friends, and visitors for short and long periods. To me, it never seemed like a big deal. In fact, I think I adopted the same attitude. I have never really struggled with sharing my space or hosting people, even for extended periods. However, as we talked today, my dad explained something I had never fully considered the consequences that can arise when people become too familiar with one another, especially when they live together for long periods of time. At first, people are grateful. They appreciate the roof over their heads, the meals, the kindness, and the sacrifices being made for them. But over time, what began as gratitude can slowly turn into expectation. What was once seen as a privilege becomes viewed as a right. People get used to t...

Dear President William Samoei Ruto, Mr. President, please listen.

Mr. President, Please Listen Be sensitive to the cry of Kenyans As I listen to different people confronting and challenging your leadership, I find myself asking a simple question: Are you listening, or are you hearing without truly listening? Today, I sit here wondering how Kenya came to accept plans associated with an Ebola preparedness or treatment centre. Ebola is not a small matter. It is a severe and often deadly disease that originated in Central Africa and spreads through direct contact with the bodily fluids of infected persons or animals. It raises genuine fears among ordinary citizens. Whether those fears are fully informed or not, they deserve to be heard and addressed openly. What was the thought behind reaching out to US to have an ebola centre in Kenya?  Mr. President, do you truly care about the majority of Kenyans who voted for you and even those who did not? Do you care about human lives? Do you care about the struggles and fears that many Kenyans express every da...

Mr. President, Please Listen

Mr. President, William Samoei Ruto, today I write not in anger but in concern, hope, and prayer. As I listen to different voices across Kenya journalists, politicians, young people, ordinary citizens, and even some of your supporters. I find myself asking: Are you listening? And if you are listening, are you truly hearing what Kenyans are saying? Leadership is not only about speaking, launching projects, travelling, or working hard. Leadership is also about listening. It is about hearing the cries, fears, frustrations, and hopes of the people you serve. Many Kenyans are raising concerns about the direction of the country, the cost of living, taxation, unemployment, governance, accountability, healthcare, education, and decisions being made in the name of development. Whether every criticism is fair or not, surely the concerns deserve to be heard. Mr. President, do you genuinely have the best interests of Kenyans at heart—those who voted for you and those who did not? Do you feel the we...

Less is more, less is sustainable, and what is sustainable can be repeated.

"Life, like decluttering, is not about having more, it is about making room for what matters most." Decluttering taught me that less is not about having little, it is about creating space for what truly matters." A staircase is climbed one step at a time, and success is built the same way. Less is more because less is sustainable, and what is sustainable can be repeated. What is repeated consistently eventually compounds into extraordinary results. Over the years, I am slowly learning that less is more. We are already carrying so much as human beings. Whatever you intend to do in life, do a little bit of it every day and make it a lifestyle rather than trying to climb a mountain all at once. A mountain is conquered one step at a time, just as a staircase is climbed one step at a time. Life is the same. Small, consistent steps eventually take you where you want to go. I have always been interested in healthy living, but for years I was inconsistent. I would go for a walk ...

IF YOU WANT A BRAND THAT LASTS BULLD A COMMUNITY

In a world where trends shift overnight and attention spans are shrinking by the second, brands that endure don’t just sell they belong. They live in conversations, in culture, and in people’s identities. The secret? Community. The most resilient, relevant brands didn’t get there by accident. They built ecosystems of people who don’t just consume they participate, advocate, and defend. If you want longevity, stop thinking audience. Start thinking community. Why Community Is the Real Competitive Advantage A strong community transforms your brand from a transaction into a relationship. Here’s why it matters: 1. Trust Becomes Organic People trust people more than they trust ads. When your customers become your storytellers, your credibility multiplies. 2. Loyalty Outlives Trends Products evolve. Markets shift. But a community stays. When people feel part of something, they don’t leave easily. E.g loyalty programs, exclusivity on offers 3. You Create Emotional Equity Community builds emoti...

End of First Half 2026

May 2026: A Month of Grace, Growth, Preservation, and Quiet Miracles “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds…”  Epistle of James James 1:2 As the month of May 2026 comes to an end, Lord, I pause with a grateful heart. It has not been an easy month. There were moments of pain, loneliness, uncertainty, lack, stress, and emotional exhaustion. Some days felt heavy. Some nights were silent battles only You and I understood. Yet through it all, You remained faithful. May was not the hardest season of my life, but it was still a stretching season a refining season. And now as I reflect, I realize something powerful: every season, whether good or painful, builds us differently. Some seasons build strength. Others build patience. Others deepen our faith, humble us, restore us, or teach us dependence on God. This month, Lord, You built me internally. Worldly speaking, there were moments I felt alone. There were moments where physically I lacked,...

God Change Our Story

Heavenly Father, Today, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, I lay this prayer before You with faith, tears, hope, and surrender. You are the God who changes stories. You are the God who lifts people from pain into purpose, from delay into destiny, from sorrow into testimony. Lord, change my story. Change my family’s story. Change the story of my loved ones and my cousins. Let this day be remembered as the beginning of a new season in our lives. Father, I am tired of cycles that repeat year after year. Tired of stagnation, delay, limitation, struggle, mediocrity, disappointment, and settling for less than what You have promised. Enough is enough. By the authority of Your name, let every unhealthy family pattern, every chain of delay, every spirit of setback, every burden of struggle and strain be broken forever in Jesus’ name. Lord, just like Hannah cried before You in deep pain and You answered her with Samuel, hear my cry today. Hannah prayed earnestly, and You remembered her. “In her deep angui...
