The Revelation Behind MN Collective

When you can discover your potential, Strengths, Influence and leverage all that to serve other people and help others. 

As I was listening to my usual podcast today, I had a revelation.

Yes, I have been writing blogs and articles because I believe God directed me to. I have always loved writing. From when I was young, I loved listening to inspiring stories and success stories. Writing has always been part of who I am.

Yet, to date, I have never fully settled with where I am. I keep asking myself, "Why?"

While listening to Oprah Winfrey being interviewed by Keke Palmer, something clicked.

When I started writing and sharing articles every day, they kept evolving. Slowly, they have been directing me toward what God wants this writing to become.

Initially, I thought it was just a blog under the philosophy:

Believe. Brand. Build.

But now I can see it becoming so much more.

It could become books.

It could become speaking engagements.

It could become a school.

It could become mentorship.

It could become cohort programs.

But I never wanted to become everyone else. I didn't want to simply do what every coach or mentor is doing.

I wanted to tell my story.

I wanted to position my story.

I wanted people to understand the "why."

Every day I have asked God,

"How do I package this into something valuable? Something scalable? Something that can help millions?"

Then another thought came.

How many people has Oprah helped?

The world knows Oprah largely because of her interviews. For decades she has helped people discover themselves, heal, grow and become.

I don't want to be Oprah.

But something Oprah said in that interview helped me understand why MN Collective exists and what it is slowly morphing into.

What am I trying to do? Or solve? 

Do people or the society need this?

What gap am I trying to fill?

Oprah's big idea has always been growth.

Inspiration.

Helping people become who they are capable of becoming.

Helping people discover who they already are, but don't yet know how to bring out.

That's what MN Collective is.

We know not everyone was called to be a builder.

People are comfortable in different spaces.

Some are called to support.

Some are called to execute.

Some are called to lead.

Some are called to innovate.

But MN Collective is called for builders.

So who are builders?

Builders are people carrying ideas they cannot ignore.

Builders are people who see problems and imagine solutions.

Builders feel restless because they know they were created for more.

Builders don't simply want jobs.

They want to create opportunities.

Builders build businesses.

Builders build movements.

Builders build communities.

Builders build systems.

Builders build legacies.

Builders are not driven by titles.

They are driven by purpose.

Oprah's words gave me another revelation.

She said,

I am a person, not a brand.

Because this is the truth about me.

I am seeking this for myself too.

MN Collective is not something I have figured out already.

It is something God is building in me as I build it.

MN Collective is becoming Africa's Largest Builders Ecosystem.

Not because I have arrived.

But because I am seeking the same thing.

To become whole.

To become who God called me to be.

To fulfill the nudge that never goes away.

To fulfill the mission attached to my calling.

To build others as I build MN Collective.

I want to honor God's dream and purpose for my life.

I believe every person was created with a dream.

Creation has a dream and purpose for everyone.

Everyone was called for something.

Stop competing.

Stop comparing.

Find what you were called for.

Identify it.

Believe it.

Brand it.

Build it.

Lean into that dream for yourself.

Align your dream with God's dream for you.

What is that dream?

What a aches you?

That is the question MN Collective wants to help people answer.

The Mission of MN Collective

MN Collective exists to help builders discover themselves and build what they were created to build.

There is something in every person that is bigger than a job title.

Bigger than a salary.

Bigger than simply surviving.

I have always felt there is something I am not doing.

This is not it for me.

Just as we are accountable to our employers, one day we will be accountable to God.

Why did He put you on this earth?

What assignment did He entrust you with?

We have been created to do great things.

Can we rise to that calling?

Don't play with yourself.

Don't play with your calling.

What will MN Collective offer?

MN Collective will begin by helping people audit themselves.

Not their CV.

Not their LinkedIn profile.

Not their job title.

But themselves.

Who are you without titles?

Who are you beyond what people know you as?

What has God placed inside you?

Through assessments, audits, surveys, conversations and engagements, we will help people identify their potential.

Their gifts.

Their dreams.

Their calling.

Then we help them believe in that dream.

Mindset transformation comes first.

Your Identity determines how you show up to the world.

Because you cannot build what you do not believe.

Then we help people brand that dream.

Position it.

Communicate it.

Give it identity.

Finally, we help them build it.

Turning dreams into businesses.

Talents into opportunities.

Passion into purpose.

Purpose into scalable impact.

The Why

This is deeply personal for me.

I have wanted to help people because I know what it feels like to struggle while looking for people who will genuinely walk with you and help you build ornopen up opportunities.

I know what it feels like to carry ideas, dreams and not know where to start.

I know what it feels like to have purpose but lack a community.

I know what it feels to look for a job for years. 

That is why MN Collective exists.

Africa has one of the youngest populations in the world, yet faces one of the highest youth unemployment challenges. Hundreds of millions of young Africans are underemployed or unemployed, and millions more enter the job market every year with limited opportunities.

If all we do is create more job seekers, the crisis continues.

But if we can identify the builders hidden among the job seekers…

If we can extract builders from the unemployed…

If we can build a builders mindset from school going children. 

If we can help them believe…

Brand…

And build…

Then every builder creates opportunities for others.

More builders mean more businesses.

More innovation.

More jobs.

More hope.

More prosperity.

More problem solvers.

MN Collective is not simply about helping people find work.

It is about helping people discover why they were created and equipping them to build what the world is waiting for.

Because I believe every person carries something God placed inside them, something unique. 

The question is:

Will they discover it?

And if they do...

Will they build it?

We are investing in solutions.

Out program helps young people:

Think differently.

Build practical skills.

Become more employable or entrepreneurial.

Start businesses or community projects.

Develop leadership and confidence.

We exist to reduce the number of job seekers by increasing the number of builders and directly addressing one of Africa's biggest challenges.  (Unemployment crisis) 

MN Collective is building Africa's largest ecosystem of builders people who create opportunities instead of waiting for them.
