God has not forgotten you.

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”

Isaiah 49:16

It is a beautiful reminder that God has not forgotten you. Your life, your circumstances and your future are not invisible to Him.

God was assuring His people that even when they felt abandoned, He had not forgotten them:

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast…? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” — Isaiah 49:15

Pray:

“Lord, when I feel forgotten, remind me that my name is engraved on the palms of Your hands. You see me. You know me. You have not forgotten me. Lead me into the future You have prepared for me.”

A Lesson for Builders

Builders, do not build only with your hands build with God.

Your plans may be big. Your vision may be clear. But before you build the business, the brand, the family, the career or the future, build your relationship with God.

Build in faith when you cannot yet see the outcome.
Build in obedience when you do not understand the whole plan.
Build with patience when the process feels slow.
Build with courage when others do not understand your vision.

Remember Noah: he built before he saw the rain.

Remember Moses: he refused to move without God's presence.

And remember God's promise:

“I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” — Isaiah 49:16

You are not forgotten.

So keep building but build through God, with God and for God's purpose.

If God is not in it, we don't want it.
If His presence is not going with us, we don't want to go.

Because the greatest thing a builder can build is not merely a successful life.

It is a life that God can use.
