Trust God
God Can Be Trusted
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
There are seasons in life when trusting God feels easy. Doors open, prayers are answered, and everything seems to make sense. Then there are seasons when heaven feels silent, plans fall apart, and we wonder if God is still at work.
Yet God's trustworthiness is not measured by our circumstances. It is rooted in His unchanging character.
God can always be trusted.
He is the only One who sees the beginning from the end. While we often focus on what we want today, God sees what will shape our tomorrow. Sometimes He gives us exactly what we ask for. At other times, He says "wait," "not yet," or even "no." Not because He has abandoned us, but because He knows what is ultimately best for us.
He is God.
A loving parent does not grant every request a child makes. Instead, a good parent makes decisions based on wisdom, protection, and love. In the same way, our Heavenly Father leads us according to His perfect knowledge, not our limited understanding.
The Bible reminds us:
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8–9 (NIV)
God sees what we cannot see. He protects us from dangers we never notice and prepares us for blessings we never imagined.
Most importantly, God always keeps His Word.
God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19 (NIV)
People may disappoint us. Circumstances may change. Feelings may fluctuate. But God remains faithful. His promises never fail, and His love never expires.
So trust Him with everything.
Trust Him with your dreams and your disappointments.
Trust Him with your family and your future.
Trust Him with your career, your business, your finances, and your health.
Trust Him with your victories and your struggles.
Trust Him with the prayers that have already been answered and the ones you are still waiting for.
Whether your situation feels small or overwhelming, place it in God's hands. Nothing is too insignificant for His care, and nothing is too difficult for His power.
Faith does not mean having all the answers. Faith means knowing the One who does. God the creator of heaven and earth and all that is in it.
Today, choose to trust God even when you cannot trace His hand. His timing is perfect. His plans are good. His promises are true.
God can be trusted. Always.
