Hate poverty

Hate Poverty and Lack. 

Hate poverty not because money is your god, but because God created you to be fruitful, to multiply, to steward, and to be a blessing to others.

Poverty can limit opportunities, delay purpose, and make it harder to serve from a place of abundance. That is why we should fight it with wisdom, diligence, integrity, and faith.

Pray as though everything depends on God.

Work as though everything entrusted to you matters.

Build with excellence.

Manage resources faithfully.

Create value that serves people and glorifies God.

God is not only interested in changing your circumstances. He is interested in shaping your character while preparing you to steward greater responsibility.

Don't pursue riches for status. Pursue stewardship for God's glory.

Build a life that reflects His faithfulness.

Build businesses that solve problems.

Build wealth that blesses generations.

Build a legacy that points people back to Him.

Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth."  Deuteronomy 8:18

 Lack

Lack is not having enough of what is needed to fulfill a purpose.

Lack can be:

* Lack of money

* Lack of knowledge

* Lack of wisdom

* Lack of opportunity

* Lack of discipline

* Lack of faith

* Lack of vision

* Lack of healthy relationships

The Bible says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6). Notice that the problem wasn't money it was knowledge.

Poverty

Poverty is a condition of prolonged lack that affects every area of life. It is more than an empty wallet. It often becomes a limitation on what a person can become, build, and pass on.

Poverty can mean:

* Limited access to education.

* Poor healthcare.

* Fewer opportunities.

* Constant financial stress.

* Living from survival instead of purpose.

* Being unable to invest, create, or multiply resources.

It is important to remember that being poor does not mean God loves you less, and being wealthy does not automatically mean God approves of you. Throughout Scripture, God is concerned with both our character and our stewardship.

How lack and poverty can restrain us from becoming and building

They can make it harder to:

Become the person God created you to be because survival often takes priority over growth.

Build: businesses because there may be little capital, knowledge, or networks.

Build families with stability when every day is consumed by meeting basic needs.

Build ministries because resources are limited.

Build communities by creating jobs, schools, hospitals, or other lasting institutions.

Build generational wealth that blesses future generations.

That said, poverty is not destiny. Many great builders started with very little. Faith, wisdom, hard work, learning, and perseverance have enabled countless people to overcome material poverty and build generation wealth.  

God's first command to humanity was not merely to survive but to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and exercise responsible stewardship (Genesis 1:28). Throughout Scripture, we see God calling people to cultivate, manage, create, serve, and multiply what He entrusts to them.

Jesus also taught the principle of faithful stewardship in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14–30), where servants were commended for multiplying what they had been given.

Hate poverty because it limits human flourishing. Fight lack because it delays purpose. But love people regardless of their financial condition. Build wealth not for pride, but for stewardship, generosity, and advancing God's purposes.

Hate poverty because it limits human flourishing. Despise lack because it delays purpose. Pursue God's wisdom, diligence, and stewardship so you can become a blessing to others not just yourself.
