BECOMING
Value attracts influence.
“Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers; they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth…” Isaiah 49:23
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
Don’t chase validation. Don’t build your life from a place of desperation. Understand this people of influence are not pursued because they are loud, but because they are valuable.
Are you taking time to package yourself with value?
Because in life, kings don’t respond to noise they respond to worth. Authority, opportunity, and influence are drawn to substance. In career and business, negotiation power is not just about confidence; it is about what you carry. What problems can you solve? What systems can you build? What results can you produce?
Prayer, fasting, and the Word are essential. So are networks and associations. But even the strongest connections can only take you as far as the value you bring into the room.
Stop wasting time chasing people and opportunities. Focus on becoming. Rise by becoming valuable. Package yourself with depth, discipline, skill, and consistency.
Because you are not meant to be hidden.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
“Becoming” simply means the process of growing into the person your life requires you to be for the opportunities you want to attract.
It is not a slogan. It is daily development in character, skill, discipline, and mindset so that your life naturally creates value without you chasing people or forcing doors open.
1. What “becoming” means in real life
Becoming is:
Moving from potential → competence
From talent → skill
From intention → consistent execution
From waiting for opportunity → creating value that attracts opportunity
It’s not about being “perfect.” It’s about being useful, reliable, and growing in capacity.
2. What you do to “become” in different areas
CAREER (skills + reliability)
To become valuable in career:
Learn a real, usable skill (communication, sales, tech, finance, leadership, design, agriculture management whatever field you’re in)
Be known for solving problems, not complaining
Show up consistently on time, deliver results, improve speed/quality
Build a track record: “When they give me work, it gets done well”
Value in career = competence + consistency + trust
BUSINESS (problem-solving + systems)
To become in business:
Learn how money moves in your industry
Understand customer problems deeply
Build systems, not just ideas
Start small, test, improve, repeat
Focus on value creation before profit obsession
Value in business = solving real problems at scale
RELATIONSHIPS (emotional maturity + stability)
To become in relationships:
Learn emotional control (don’t react, respond)
Communicate clearly without fear or manipulation
Respect boundaries yours and others
Be consistent, not intense then absent
Heal insecurity (so you don’t chase or cling)
Value in relationships = stability, respect, emotional maturity
SPIRITUAL LIFE (alignment + character)
To become spiritually:
Develop discipline (prayer, reflection, self-control)
Practice honesty with yourself
Forgive and release bitterness
Live with integrity even when unseen
Grow humility + gratitude
Value spiritually = character alignment and inner grounding
3. What “adding value so kings reach you” really means
It is not about literal kings.
It means:
Decision-makers
Influential people
Employers
Investors
Mentors
Opportunity gatekeepers
They “reach you” when:
You are excellent at something useful
You are consistent and dependable
You have a clear track record of results
Your presence reduces problems, not adds confusion
People don’t pursue potential. They pursue proof.
4. A simple truth most people miss
You don’t attract opportunities by trying to be noticed.
You attract them by becoming:
Useful
Reliable
Skilled
Disciplined
Consistent
Then your name starts appearing in rooms you didn’t force your way into.
5. A grounded way to think about it
Instead of asking:
“How do I get people to choose me?”
Ask:
“What would I need to become so that I am naturally valuable in any room I enter?”
That shift changes everything.
